of all the coffee shops i visited during my weeklong stay in baguio, brew & alchemy coffeeworks is definitely my favorite. you can truly feel their passion for elevating the coffee experience — from their choice of machines, equipment, and cups, to the quality of beans they use, and most importantly, the taste of their coffee. i also appreciate how dedicated they are to supporting local beans and farmers, which really resonates with me. we had a great conversation with the barista, and there’s no doubt they’re skilled and genuinely passionate about what they do. i left not only with two packs of their coffee beans, but also with new learnings and inspiration. thank you, brew & alchemy team — keep brewing with purpose!

One of our favorite cafes in Baguio!!! This became one of the places we frequent to whenever we visit Baguio. We discovered this cafe while strolling in porta vaga, and I recalled the cafe's name from coffee home brewers as well. We met the owners, Victor and May, and they were very accommodating and friendly. We usually order their pourover beans, just ask them which beans are available. Victor and May are passionate with what they do and we always enjoyed our visits with them since we get to chat with them. We definitely learned a lot from them. :) Also, their pesto pasta is a must try!! I look forward to their pasta as well :) I'd 100/10 recommend this cafe since they truly live up to their name as a specialty shop/cafe. Masarap talaga kape dito, hindi puro aesthetic. Would definitely visit again when in Baguio!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've searched high and low for cafes in Baguio, and Brew & Alchemy truly stands out! As someone who is lactose intolerant, it's always a challenge to find cafes that offer milk alternatives like soy, oat, or almond—thankfully, they do! I was craving a decent flat white but decided to try their Dirty Horchata Iced, and wow, it absolutely blew me away (it’s brewing perfection!). Hands down the best coffee I’ve had in Baguio City! The staff are super hospitable and friendly, making the experience even better. I'll definitely be back—this place is a gem!

A small coffee shop hidden away in a mall, but we found it relatively easy. They had 2 options available for pour over, I opted for the Ethiopian. There wasn't much chat about the coffee which is unfortunate. They did however serve it in two different glasses, which highlights different aspects of the coffee itself. I'd rate the coffee itself 7/10. My partner ordered a flat white with oat milk and enjoyed it. Although it was closer to the size of a latte and lacked latte art. If you need your coffee fix and want something decent, it's worth checking out.

2.5 hours went by fast when we enjoyed here as the proprietors were very generous in sharing their coffee stories, wisdom, and innovation. This is place and Hot Cat are our 2 go-to cafés in Baguio of if we're looking for specialty coffee that are extracted well for maximum flavor. Bonus: We got to learn inside scoops about the current coffee industry, network, and community in Philippines. We'll definitely come back!

Best coffee we had in the Philippines. We ordered an oatmilk latte and a pour over. The latte was wild and good. The pour over was a unique experience as it comes with this set in the pic. The friendly barista explained how each receptacle highlights different aspects of the aromas. We were encouraged to try both to see which we like more. Certainly a new and fun experience for us in discovering new ways to appreciate coffee. Both coffees had such strong lingering aftertaste I could still taste them long after. And the couple that run the place are really friendly. They also sell coffee beans they roasted, both local and imported beans. This place took a while to find. The map brought us up the lane next to the cathedral, which lead us to a rooftop bazaar. We couldn't find the cafe her until we asked a security guard. Then we realised we were on top of a mall and the cafe is on one of the floors below. Luckily we asked!

The best coffee I had in Baguio!! They roast coffee beans with computer to make best of the coffee beans, control and monitor the temperature well. The owners are always updated and never stop learning how to roast and serve coffee as barista. They even learn from Australia professional barista course. They also have Horchata, mexican healthy drink. This is where you buy coffee, and drink coffee every day.

For me, I like their kini-ing pesto, savory(8/10). I tried their orange and cinnamon chocolate as well (na-curious sa combination) and it is an 8/10 for me. Subtle yung orange flavor, mas nalalasahan ko yung cinnamon sa huli but it was good (a must try parin). I also tried the roasted almond (Iced), too sweet lang for me(7.5/10). Overall, 8/10, I like their food, for sure babalikan ko pa ito to try other options on their menu. It is a small coffee shop serving a-must try brews. Update: Love their Horchata
